From Library Journal
This is a current, geographically arranged list of 50 buildings or sites by Wright (1867-1959) open to the public. Each entry gives, as appropriate, street address, telephone, tour schedules and fees, and a very brief (50- to 200-word) statement about the listing. These statements vary in scope, intent, and quality. Save for Fallingwater, each entry is limited to a single page and a single photograph. Included are museums, private houses, public buildings, and churches as well as miscellaneous structures. There are no maps or driving instructions, which would have been helpful in some instances. Brief listings of archives and of collections and exhibits appear without explanation at the end. Useful, but very specialized; for the insatiable Wright audience. - Jack Perry Brown, Art Inst. of Chicago Libs. Copyright 1991 Reed Business Information, Inc.

Midwest Book Review
Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959), his architectural legacy has been the subject of untold numbers of exhibitions and publications. In 1994, the Museum of Modern Art in New York celebrated Wright's accomplishments in an exhaustive and wildly popular retrospective of his career. Through his poetic treatment of space, light and materials, Wright revolutionized American architecture, establishing himself as one of the preeminent modernists of the early 20th century. His buildings continue to thrill a wide-ranging audience of architects and non-architects alike. Wright Sites: A Guide To Frank Lloyd Wright Public Places is a revised edition of a guidebook first publishing by The Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy, and is a complete catalog of Wright's extant, visitable buildings in the United States, and also includes listings for sites in Asia and Europe. In addition to regional maps and suggested itineraries, the guide contains descriptions of visitation information for more than sixty projects. Although much of Wright's work is located in the Midwest, Wright enthusiasts across the country will be delighted to discover Wright buildings in New Hampshire, Texas, Alabama, Virginia, Florida, and Montana.
