About The Author
Kate Boehm Nyquist, as president of Scott Foresman Publishing Company, led a team of experts in developing first-rate programs for school-age kids in science, reading, health and math. She now devotes great energy to writing children's books and advising a variety of national clientele on projects that support science literacy and the home/school connection.
